We Grow... as disciples of Jesus Christ.

Whether we realize it or not, we all spend much of our time and energy serving various masters. Whether it’s money, acclaim, pleasure, or power, the things that we spend the most time thinking and worrying about will inevitably master us, and will change us for better or worse. Jesus had some challenging words to offer on this subject: “If anyone wants to come with Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life because of Me will find it.” (Mt. 16.24-25)

Growing as disciples of Jesus means knowing him, being changed by him, and following him into the world to love and serve others. This life with Jesus is dynamic; knowing Jesus means that life will never be the same! We also believe that by God’s grace this is a “community project”- we are not left alone but we are instead gathered together to grow in the faith as a community. With this in mind we gather regularly to encourage each other and study the scriptures to learn what it means to live as Christ-centered individuals and as a Christ-centered community.
