Taking the Gospel to the ends of the earth

We take Jesus’ Great Commission to “make disciples of all nations” seriously, and so we support mission efforts around the globe. This is an unprecedented time in the history of Christianity, as people around the globe are coming to faith more rapidly than they ever have. We consider it our duty and a special honor to be able to be personally involved in several mission projects in different locales. We also consider it an honor to be able to support a number of missionaries and mission efforts around the world. Through the efforts of those we support, and through our own trips, we truly are seeing Christ go into all the nations to call out his disciples.

Past mission trips

Solomon Islands Pastor Training

In 2007 former pastor Dr. Jim Goodloe went to the Solomon Islands with our brother and missionary Alphaeus Zobule. While there they spent a week teaching the gospel of Mark to native pastors. Alphaeus, who has since become Dr. Alphaeus Zobule, has now moved back to the Solomon islands and is busy pastoring and translating the Bible into his native tongue, as well as other languages of the islands.

Honduras Medical Missions

Several years ago Grace Covenanters began going to Honduras to assist the locals there with medical care. Since then the mission has grown to incorporate year-round medical clinics, as well as Vacation Bible School programs for children and yearly trips by teams from the US.

Gulf Coast rebuilding

Although it has largely been forgotten, there is still a monumental amount of work to be done to rebuild the Gulf Coast communities following the destruction of Hurricane Katrina. Since that sad day members and friends of Grace Covenant have been assisting communities and individuals in the region.

Southeast Asia- Church planting, indigenous leader training, pastoral care.

Moldova- University ministries of evangelism, leadership development, and church planting.

Honduras- Medical missions, children’s ministries.
