We Gather... to worship the living God.
We all love a good celebration. Whether it’s a birthday, a graduation, a wedding, or something as simple as a neighborhood cookout, we love to gather to celebrate the things that are most important to us in life.
Worship is, at its simplest, people gathering together to celebrate God. We gather to remind each other of the grace, truth, and love we have been given in Jesus Christ, and we sing songs of celebration and thanksgiving to God. As we do so it is natural for us to recognize our own shortcomings, so we admit them and turn from them when we see how we alienate ourselves from God and others. We pray together because we trust that God is actively involved in our daily lives, and we want to be guided by him. We gather each Sunday at 11am to do all this and more.
Worship is much more than just a singular event on Sunday morning, though. We believe that worship is an attitude of the heart and a practice that is cultivated in the context of community, so we take time to gather throughout the week in different times and places with the goal of living lives of worship together. In our friendships, our marriages, our families, our communities, at work and at play, we are invited to live our lives as an offering of gratitude to God.
Here you will find more information about our services, our music programs, and our commitment to prayer. You can also come here whenever you like to listen to some of our sermons online. Whatever you do, though, we believe you need to experience it --come join us in this life of worshiping God.
Radio Ministry
We believe the the Gospel is good news for the whole world, so we broadcast that news to as much of the world as we can! The Grace Covenant community has been broadcasting its worship service on the radio since 1924, making it one of the longest running religious broadcasts in existence in America today. Each Sunday our members and friends worship with us from afar beginning at 11:00am on WLES 590 AM.
